Fall 2026 school orientation
School orientation for all grades takes place Monday, Aug. 24, at 11:30 a.m.
This school year, Víkurskóli is launching a new homeroom model. The goal is to strengthen connections between students and homeroom teachers, improve individualized support, and better promote students' academic and social well-being.
Students will be placed in mixed homeroom groups, with each homeroom teacher responsible for 12-13 students from 8th, 9th, and 10th grade.
On Monday, Aug. 24, students should report to their homeroom teacher's classroom at 11:30 a.m. Homeroom teachers will send an email before the weekend with more detailed information.
At noon, grilled hot dogs and fun activities will be waiting in the courtyard out front.
